This was supposed to be an article about San Francisco street fashion during my visit. But after 2 days and 12 hours of walking, what did I find?

Nothing.

I’m actually not surprised. When I last visited San Francisco in late 2019, I had similar results. I found one woman who I thought had a cool look. She was a fashion blogger on Instagram. Naturally. But she was it. This last walk, there was one person who had some interesting style. But she just wasn’t’ enough for me to stop and ask if I can take her pic. Don’t get me wrong. There are nicely dressed people. But they all sort of looked the same. Jeans and a casual shirt/t-shirt. Maybe a nice sweater.

It’s especially weird because there are some really great stores in San Francisco’s Union Square. Valentino. Dior. Gooring Bros hat shop and others. So where are they?

But nothing. In fact, when I lived in San Francisco, I was quite proud that I was usually the best dressed man in San Francisco. I think that fell to ‘top 20’ in New York. Paris, I’m somewhere in the middle. I swear, when you walk around downtown Paris, you might feel you’re in the middle of a GQ fashion shoot….

So when you get lemons, you make lemonade!

I took pics of my hometown. Enjoy!
