Nothing fancy. No long article. Just one Christmas wish: Covid-19 is dealt with once and for all. Soon.
Regardless of whether you believe it to be a real thread or not, it’s just been a mess. I think the press and media have been wildly out of control grinding fear into most people and leadership has failed on many levels. The destruction this has left behind is something that probably hasn’t been seen since the Great Depression of the 1930s. No recessions during my lifetime have been nowhere near as bad.

There have been silver-linings. I’ve known and seen people start their own businesses. They took the time to develop it during the shut-down. People have re-aligned priorities that they now seen have been out of whack. People are looking more closely at what we value as a society. And I think this is good. This FORCED people to stop and take stock. To re-evaluate. We certainly had the time.
While I only made a fraction of money I wanted to make with photography in my first, full-time year, I got a hell of a lot of work done in my home office. Almost every day. Creating, fixing and learning. I’ll be writing about this in next week’s blog article. My biggest problem was trying to avoid burn-out. Fourteen-hour days were not un-common. Still.

Do this for me or better yet, do it for yourself: Keep your chin up. Smile and be kind to people. Be cool. Tell your fear “You are nothing to me! I am stronger than you! You will not change who I am!”.
I wish you a happy and incredible Christmas, Hannukah and Holiday Season!
